How to write a Letter of Recommendation?
- Start with the heading including the recipient’s name. if you don’t know who to address just write to whom it may concern.
- In the first sentence introduce yourself.
- Clearly define your relationship with the person you’re writing the letter about.
- Next, in the body of the letter, evaluate the individual based on your experience with them. this is a particularly good time to talk up any skills that the person can bring to their company or organizations.
- The closing paragraph should end with a reiteration of the person’s strengths.
