General Power of Attorney

How to complete a Power of Attorney?
Step 1:
The Notary has to fill in the gaps with information about the place and date of signing as well as the complete name of the Notary.

Step 2:

All pages of the document need to be bound up with a seal or stamp which does not allow to open the document.

Step 3:

All grantors of the Power of Attorney must sign the document at the bottom of every page.

Step 4:
The Notary must sign and/or stamp the document at the bottom of every page.

Step 5:

Next, all pages of the document must be signed and stamped according to steps 3 and 4.

Step 6:

At the end of the text, all grantors of the Power of Attorney must sign before the Notary, who must put his/her signature and stamp below those signatures.

Step 7:

All grantors’ certified/notarised passport copies (only the first page) must be attached to the Power of Attorney and included in the same document. Please note the Notary must certify that this is a true copy of the original.

Step 8:

The Apostille can be the last or first page of the document but always needs to be bound to the Power of Attorney. This means only one Apostille is required for the whole document.
